Kylie Jenner Launches Skincare Brand, Kylie Skin
The internet is alleging that a Kardashian-Jenner might not have been totally forthcoming about something they're selling. But already the six-part set is being slammed by beauty enthusiasts online, who have taken to Twitter to blast the Walnut Face Scrub as 'dangerously' abrasive and damaging to the skin. Kylie Skin, a new skin-care brand by Kylie Jenner, launched on May 22 with a range of facial products.
Though they're not groundbreaking, the Kylie Skin products perform. The makeup guru posted a review with Shane Dawson to his YouTube channel on Sunday, and the two were not impressed with Kylie Jenner‘s latest venture, Kylie Skin. As a colleague and I detailed at Racked in 2016, people started catching on in the early 2000s that maybe scrubbing your face with a product that feels like tiny sharp rocks was possibly not a great idea.
The 21-year-old announced the addition of several skin products, which also included a foaming face wash, vanilla milk toner, moisturiser, eye cream kylie jenner walnut scrub review and vitamin C serum, on top of the walnut face scrub. As well as the six main products, Kylie Skin will also be selling travel bags for $22 and makeup removing wipes for $10.
Not surprisingly, apricot scrubs and walnut scrubs aren't that different. But on the whole, the Kylie Skin products are like a simplified skincare routine template. With only one eye cream, one cleanser, one serum, one moisturizer, one toner, and one scrub, I knew the products were going to be basic and gentle.
From questionable products to "fake" YouTube reviews, many have bashed the billionaire for not taking the steps necessary to deliver a quality skincare line. We spoke to various skincare experts about the controversial product. As reported by People , the clip, shared to the Kylie Skin Twitter and Instagram accounts, showed the reality star using the face wash for 10 seconds.
